Web and mobile interfaces your users understand the very first time
Uteek is a UX/UI design agency based in Tunis that designs websites, mobile apps and business platforms around the people who use them. From research to Figma prototypes, we make your user journeys simple, accessible and consistent, then support our developers or yours all the way to launch.
Uteek · TunisWhat is UX/UI design?
UX/UI design brings together two complementary disciplines. UX (user experience) studies users’ needs, behaviours and pain points to shape journeys, information architecture and features. UI (user interface) turns those decisions into screens: layout, components, colours, typography, icons and micro-interactions. Together, they determine whether a website or app is understood, used and enjoyed, or abandoned within a few seconds of opening it.
At Uteek, designers and developers work in the same team in Tunis. Our designs are therefore built to be feasible, documented for development and tested before a single line of code is written. We work on new products as well as redesigns of existing interfaces: corporate and e-commerce websites, iOS and Android apps, customer portals, back offices and internal tools, in English and French.
Our UX/UI design services
User research
Interviews, surveys, usage data analysis and audits of existing products reveal what your users are really looking for and where they get stuck.
Architecture and journeys
We organise content and features, map key user journeys and define logical navigation before giving any thought to how the screens will look.
Wireframes
Low-fidelity wireframes let us quickly validate the structure of each screen and the hierarchy of information, without being distracted by visual details.
UI design
We create high-fidelity screens in Figma, true to your visual identity, for web and mobile and across every relevant screen size.
Interactive prototype
A clickable prototype simulates the real website or app. It is used for user testing, internal presentations and sign-off before development starts.
Design system
A library of components, styles and documented rules in Figma keeps interfaces consistent and speeds up work for both designers and developers.

Why choose Uteek as your UX/UI design agency?
We design interfaces that meet users’ real needs and can be built without unpleasant surprises during development.
Decisions based on users
Our design choices rely on research and testing rather than assumptions. We put journeys in front of real users early on, so friction points are fixed while changes are still inexpensive.
Designers and developers together
Our team brings together more than 20 experts in design and web and mobile development. Developers review designs as they take shape, which narrows the gap between the approved prototype and the finished product.
Accessibility built in
Contrast, text size, touch targets, keyboard navigation and alternative text are addressed in line with WCAG recommendations from the wireframe stage, so interfaces work for as many people as possible.
Broad experience
For more than ten years, our Tunis studio has designed websites, apps and platforms for startups, companies and institutions, in Tunisia and internationally, working in both English and French.

Frequently asked questions: UX/UI Design Agency
What is the difference between UX and UI?
UX (user experience) design is about how a product works: user needs, journeys, content structure and the flow between screens. UI (user interface) design is about how it looks and responds: components, colours, typography, icons and button states. An interface can be beautiful yet hard to use, or logical yet uninspiring, which is why we handle both disciplines together in one team.
What do you deliver at the end of a UX/UI project?
Depending on the scope defined in the quote, you receive research outputs (findings, personas, journey maps), wireframes, high-fidelity designs and the interactive prototype in Figma, along with the design system and its components and rules. Files are shared with your developers, who can inspect measurements, export assets and pick up styles directly.
What is a design system, and do I need one?
A design system is a library of reusable components (buttons, forms, cards, menus), styles and documented usage rules. It becomes valuable as soon as a product has many screens, evolves regularly or involves several designers and developers. It keeps the interface consistent, cuts down on repeated decisions and speeds up the creation of new features. For a small website, a simple component library is often enough.
How do you build accessibility into your designs?
We apply WCAG recommendations from the start: sufficient contrast between text and background, readable text sizes, large enough touch targets, visible focus states, a logical keyboard navigation order and alternative text planned for images. These requirements are documented in the design system so developers can reproduce them faithfully in code.
Do you run user testing?
Yes, when the project includes it. We run prototype tests with participants who represent your audiences, either in person in Tunis or remotely. We observe them as they complete realistic tasks, which reveals misunderstandings and blockers. Findings are summarised as prioritised recommendations and applied before development, while changes are still inexpensive.
Can you improve the UX of an existing website or app?
Yes. We start with a UX audit: analysis of available usage data, a review of key journeys against established usability criteria, an accessibility check and, where possible, user interviews. You receive a list of issues ranked by severity, with practical recommendations. We can then redesign the affected screens, either step by step or as part of a full redesign.
How long does a UX/UI design project take?
It depends on the number of screens, the complexity of the journeys and the amount of research planned. A corporate website generally needs between 3 and 6 weeks of design work, and a mobile app or business platform between 6 and 12 weeks. Design can also be delivered in batches, so development starts on the first approved journeys.
