AI Business Automation

Less manual data entry, more time for work that matters.

Uteek, a digital agency in Tunis, uses AI to automate your administrative and back-office tasks: reading documents, sorting emails, entering data, generating reports and keeping your software in sync. Uncertain cases are routed to your team, so people stay in charge of the decisions that matter.

What is AI business automation?

AI business automation means handing repetitive tasks that require understanding content to intelligent workflows: reading an invoice, sorting an email, pulling information from a contract or summarising a report. Traditional automation moves structured data from one system to another; AI adds the ability to handle scanned documents, free text and the many varied formats that fixed rules simply cannot cope with.

At Uteek, we review your administrative, finance, HR or logistics processes to find the tasks best suited to automation. We then build workflows connected to your existing tools, with confidence thresholds: clear-cut items are processed automatically, while uncertain ones are sent to a team member for review. Your staff spend less time re-keying data and more time analysing information and making decisions.

The automations we put in place

Intelligent document processing

Automatic reading and data extraction from invoices, purchase orders, contracts and supporting documents, including scans, with consistency checks before anything is recorded.

Email triage and drafting

Incoming messages are sorted by topic and urgency, key details are extracted and draft replies are prepared for your team to review and send.

Cross-application workflows

Automatic synchronisation between your ERP, CRM, spreadsheets and business tools, following clear business rules and raising alerts whenever something looks wrong.

Automated reporting

Summaries, meeting notes and dashboards generated automatically from your data, written in a consistent format and ready for a final human review.

Data entry and validation

Manual re-keying replaced by automated flows that check formats, spot duplicates and flag inconsistent values to the person responsible for them.

Automation monitoring

A dashboard showing volumes processed, exceptions, errors and items awaiting human approval, so you can follow each automated process at a glance.

Let’s find the tasks worth automating

Why automate your processes with Uteek?

We start from your real processes and existing software, not from an off-the-shelf tool your teams have to adapt to.

Process first, technology second

We look at how your teams actually work, measure the time spent on each task and only recommend automating what delivers a clear, verifiable benefit for your business.

Built around your existing tools

Our developers connect automation to the software you already use through APIs, databases or exports. You do not need to switch ERP or CRM to benefit from it.

People stay in the loop

Every workflow includes confidence thresholds and review queues. Ambiguous cases go to a team member, who keeps the final say on any sensitive operation or financial decision.

Local and international partner

Based in Tunis, we work in French and English for companies in Tunisia and in more than seven countries, with close follow-up after each automation goes live.

Frequently asked questions: AI Business Automation

Which processes can be automated with AI?

The best candidates are repetitive, frequent tasks based on documents or text: invoice processing, email sorting, order entry, reconciliations, report preparation, application screening or replies to recurring requests. We assess each process on its volume, variability and associated risk before recommending whether, and how, to automate it.

What is the difference between AI automation and traditional RPA?

RPA replays clicks and keystrokes according to fixed rules and works well with structured data. AI automation adds an understanding of content: it can read a document with a varying layout, interpret a freely written email or summarise a text. The two approaches are often combined within the same workflow.

Can AI extract data from invoices or scanned documents?

Yes. We combine optical character recognition with language models to extract amounts, dates, references or supplier names, even when layouts differ. Quality depends on how legible the documents are, so we always test on your own samples first and add consistency checks before any data is recorded.

Do we need to replace our existing software?

No. We connect automation to your current tools, whether an ERP, a CRM, an email system or simple spreadsheets, through their APIs, databases or exports. If a piece of software offers no usable interface, we explain the available options and their limits before the project starts.

What happens when the AI is unsure about a result?

Each step comes with a confidence level and control rules. Below a threshold agreed with you, or when an inconsistency is detected, the item goes into a review queue so a team member can check it. These cases are then used to improve the workflow’s rules and instructions.

Which indicators should we track to evaluate AI automation?

We track handling time per item, the volume processed automatically, the share of exceptions sent for review, the rate of errors found afterwards and end-to-end turnaround times. These indicators are measured before and after go-live, giving an objective view of the return on investment for each automated process.

Where is our document data processed?

Depending on how sensitive your data is, we use provider APIs whose terms govern how data may be used, or open-source models hosted on your own servers. In every case, we comply with Tunisia’s 2004 personal data law, overseen by the INPDP, and with the GDPR when people in Europe are concerned.
